What is ScrivKids?
ScrivKids is the Middle Grade/YA imprint of our parent publishing company–Scrivenings Press. We’re also a writing community for kids and teens to connect, learn, and enjoy the love of reading and writing.
We sponsor an annual writing contest for grades 4-12, a book club featuring middle-grade and YA fiction, and share training information about the craft of writing through our blog and social networks.
Free Writing Contest
Our 2023 writing contest for grades 4-12 has ended. Unfortunately, we didn’t receive enough entries to publish an anthology. Entrants will be issued a certificate of participation by the end of November 2023.
Book Club
Beginning September 1, 2023, each quarter, we’ll post information about that quarter’s featured title, including an excerpt from the book, discussion questions, introduction of the author, and more. There will be no fees for joining this book club, which is managed via a Facebook group.
Writing Community
ScrivKids is the new Middle Grade/Young Adult imprint of our parent company, Scrivenings Press LLC. Not only will ScrivKids produce some great books, we also have a training blog and Facebook group where young writers can connect and learn more about writing.
